The Legion of Mary is an international association of members of the Roman Catholic Church who serve it on a voluntary basis. It was founded in Dublin, as a Roman Catholic Marian Movement by the layman and civil servant Frank Duff. Today, active and auxiliary (praying) members make up a total of over 10 million members worldwide, making it the largest apostolic organization of lay people in the Catholic Church.

In our parish we have two legions comprising a total of 150 members. They gather together on every Thursdays and pray for the parish, community, the church and for the whole world. Though they are acting behind the curtain, they stand as a power house of the parish spirituality.

Through their collective prayers, they offer solace to the troubled, hope to the weary, and strength to the wavering. As they gather every Thursday, their prayers resonate throughout the parish, infusing it with a sense of unity, purpose, and divine grace.
