High School Section
Started in 1952 as the fruit of the strong determination, perseverance, and hard work of the then Vicar Fr. Thomas Aravathinal, a source of enlightenment and enrichment for thousands and thousands of people of this area during the last seven decades.
At present, under the leadership of Sri Babu Lukose, Headmaster from 2017 onwards, the only school with 100% result in Std X during the academic year 2017-2018 in Erattupetta Municipality.
For the all-round development of the students, to develop a culture suited for the coming generation, a lot of student-centered academic and co-curricular activities are conducted in the school. Counseling facilities, karate practice, motivation classes, etc., attract the students.
Higher Secondary School
High school, which started in 1952, was upgraded as higher secondary school in 2000. Two science batches with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics as optional subjects and a Commerce batch with Computerised Accounting, Business Studies, Economics, and Computer Application as optional subjects were allotted. Right from the beginning, the HSS section has been able to maintain above 95% result.
With the intention of equipping the students to face the challenges of the future, various programs are conducted in the school. National Service Scheme, Career Guidance classes, Souhrida Club activities, Jesus Youth, Moral classes, retreat, motivation classes, etc., are some of them. Sri P J Mathew is the present principal of the school. There are sixteen teaching staff and two lab assistants in the HSS section.
