Catechism classes are conducted through out the year on Sundays as part of equipping the coming generation with deep rooted catholic faith. The Vicar of the Forane Church is the patron of the Sunday school . Under the Director of the Sunday school, The Asst Vicar, a team of around forty teachers, including 18 Reverent sisters actively participate in the catechism training process.
Classes are held, accompanied by Holy mass from 9.15 am to 12.30 pm. At 9.15 students gather in the church for Morning prayer(sapra) followed by Holy Mass. Assembly is held in the church itself immediately after the Holy mass. Classes are held from 11.00 am to 12.30 pm. Around 950 students attend the catechism classes in 34 divisions.
As we continue to invest in the education and spiritual formation of our youth through the catechism program, we strive to instill in our students a love for God, a commitment to serving others, and a passion for living out their faith in their daily lives.
